NS Capo

Elegant. Simple. Functional. Accurate.

Ned Steinberger has a knack for making products that not only work, they also look good doing it. His Steinberger bass received numerous awards, including the “Design of the Decade” award from the Industrial Designer Society Of America.

The Planet Waves NS Capo is the result of Ned's engineer's eye and designer's soul combining once again to redefine the simple capo. Lightweight aircraft aluminum to ensure the capo doesn't weigh down the strings and pull them out of tune. A quick, solid set screw adjusts the tension of the capo's grip, giving an even, steady clamp across the strings.

Spin the Strobe

The Planet Waves Tru-Strobe Tuner is the first compact actual strobe tuner on the market. Geared towards techs, luthiers and discriminating musicians, the Tru Strobe is accurate to .001 cents. With an easy-to-read dial, built-in microphone for tuning acoustic instruments and an auto shut-off to preserve battery life, this shiny black beauty is also a bit on the hefty side (which keeps it from being pulled off my workbench by the weight of a guitar cable). Nice.

The dazzling blue LED readout lets you focus in your tuning and is easy to read on dark stages.

This is the new blog from Artist Relations Guy Tom Spaulding concerning all things Planet Waves.
